Adaptive ATR Trailing Stops

How it works

The indicator calculates stop-loss levels using Average True Range (ATR) and either Highest High Value (HHV) or Lowest Low Value (LLV) depending on the trade direction. For long positions, it sets the stop-loss below the current price using the HHV minus an ATR-based value, while for short positions, it sets the stop-loss above the current price using the LLV plus an ATR-based value.

The stop-loss line dynamically adjusts with each candle close, creating a trailing mechanism that adapts to market volatility. When the price moves favorably, the stop-loss moves to lock in profits, and when the price moves against the trade, the line provides a clear exit signal by changing color.
