How it works

The Doji Trender scans multiple timeframes to identify candles where the open and close prices are extremely close (within 0.025% by default). It plots trends between these doji points, creating a multi-timeframe visualization of market indecision and potential trend shifts.

The indicator uses configurable timeframes like 5m, 15m, 1h, 4h, and chart timeframe, with each color representing a different timeframe. Lower timeframe dojis are interpreted as corrections to higher timeframe trends, creating a hierarchical view of market dynamics and potential trend reversals.

Why it may be useful

The Doji Trender provides traders with a unique perspective on market sentiment by highlighting precise points of price indecision across different timeframes. It reveals where significant battles between bulls and bears have occurred, potentially indicating key support and resistance levels.

By mapping these indecision points, traders can identify potential trend reversals, retests, and key price levels with enhanced precision. The indicator helps traders understand market psychology and locate critical zones where price momentum might change direction.

When to explore it

The Doji Trender works best on daily charts, offering more meaningful insights compared to very short timeframes. It is particularly useful when traders want to identify potential trend corrections, support/resistance zones, and market sentiment shifts across multiple timeframes.

Traders should use this indicator in conjunction with volume analysis and other confirmation tools to validate potential trade setups. It is most effective when looking for confluence between different timeframe trends and seeking to understand the underlying market structure.
