How it works

This adaptive filtering method begins by optionally reducing data lag through initial modifications. It then calculates one of six adaptive moving averages: CCIAMA, RSIAMA, %RAMA, KVOAMA, MFIAMA, or CCAMA. After selecting the adaptive filter, Average True Range (ATR) is computed using the chosen filter.

The ATR is multiplied by the square root of the sampling period, then divided by 2 and 4 to create multiple range calculations. These ranges are added to and subtracted from the adaptive filter to generate dynamic price channels
