How it works

The indicator calculates Average True Range (ATR) bands by using high and low price inputs with a Root Mean Square (RMA) moving average. It multiplies the ATR by a user-defined multiplier, typically 1.5, to create upper and lower price bands that dynamically adjust to market volatility.

The script then smooths the range average and determines band colors based on the slope of the moving average. It also calculates and displays higher timeframe bands, allowing traders to compare trend directions across multiple timeframes simultaneously.
