How it works

The Seasonality Chart calculates average price changes for specific days within each month over a user-defined number of years. By recording and averaging price changes occurring on the same calendar day across multiple years, the script generates 'seasonal indexes' that reveal recurring price movement patterns.

These seasonal indexes are then plotted to create a visual representation of how prices typically behave during different months. Traders can choose to view absolute price changes or percentage changes, and even apply linear regression to understand the overall trend of seasonal variations.
