How it works

Hindsight Trend works by saving the high and low points of completed candles as potentially notable points, with notability determined by how long those points remain unbroken. When a point stays unbroken for the user-selected period, it becomes a notable high or low point.

The indicator then connects these notable highs and lows that are close to each other, creating trend lines. At the start of each trend, a triangle is drawn to indicate the significance of the trend, with triangle size representing how long the initiating high or low remained unbroken.
