UNDERSTAND THE TOOL

How it works

The indicator identifies supply and demand zones by analyzing specific price action sequences where market dynamics shift from balanced to imbalanced. For supply zones, a green candle followed by a red candle at least double its size creates a zone from the green candle's open to its highest point. Conversely, for demand zones, a red candle followed by a larger green candle creates a zone from the red candle's open to its lowest point.

These zones represent potential areas where institutional investors have placed significant buy or sell orders. Unlike traditional support and resistance levels, these zones dynamically disappear when price breaks through them, making them more responsive to current market conditions and institutional trading strategies.

Why it may be useful

Understanding institutional order placement provides traders with critical insights into potential market reversals and significant price movements. By mapping where large investors are likely positioning their orders, traders can align their strategies with institutional momentum and improve their entry and exit decisions.

These zones offer a more dynamic and precise approach to identifying potential trading opportunities compared to static support and resistance levels. They reveal the underlying market structure and institutional intent, allowing traders to make more informed decisions about potential trend changes and market sentiment.

When to explore it

This indicator works best in markets with clear institutional participation and significant volume, such as major forex pairs, large-cap stocks, and major stock indices. Traders should look for volume spikes within these zones or confirmation through trend or trendline breakouts to validate potential trading opportunities.

The indicator is particularly effective during periods of market consolidation or when price is approaching known institutional order zones. Traders should combine this tool with other technical analysis methods and confirm signals using multiple timeframes to increase the probability of successful trades.
