How it works

The MFI Candle Trend indicator calculates Money Flow Index values for open, high, low, and close prices using advanced computational techniques. It applies optional smoothing through various moving average methods like EMA, SMA, or WMA to refine the raw MFI data.

The indicator then transforms the smoothed MFI data into synthetic candles using multiple transformation methods including Normal, Heikin-Ashi, Linear, and Rational Quadratic approaches. These synthetic candles are color-coded to represent market momentum, with cyan indicating strong positive MFI movement and red signaling strong negative MFI movement.
