UNDERSTAND THE TOOL

How it works

The indicator automatically calculates and draws horizontal lines representing the high, low, and midpoint of the most recently completed trading sessions. It uses predefined session times for Tokyo, London, and New York, which can be independently enabled or disabled by the trader.

Each session's lines are calculated by identifying the extreme price points during that specific timeframe. The midpoint is determined by taking the average of the high and low prices. These lines extend to the right side of the chart, remaining visible throughout the day as reference levels for potential market interactions.

Why it may be useful

Session-based price levels provide crucial insights into market structure and potential turning points in price action. By highlighting the previous session's key levels, traders can better understand institutional activity and potential areas of support or resistance.

These reference lines help traders make more informed decisions by providing visual cues about recent market behavior. They offer a quick and easy way to identify potential entry, exit, or stop-loss points based on recent market dynamics and price interactions.

When to explore it

This indicator is most effective for intraday traders working with shorter timeframes ranging from 1-minute to 4-hour charts. It is particularly useful during active market hours when session-based levels can provide meaningful insights into potential price movements.

Traders should focus on these levels during periods of potential market transition, such as session overlaps or when price approaches previously identified high, low, or midpoint levels. It works best when combined with other technical analysis tools to confirm potential trading signals and market directions.
