How it works

The PumpC CBC EMAs + VWAP Indicator uses a Candle By Candle (CBC) Flip strategy to analyze market sentiment by comparing current and previous candle closes. When the current candle's close is above the previous candle's high, it signals a bullish flip, indicating bulls have taken control. Conversely, when the current candle's close is below the previous candle's low, it indicates a bearish flip, suggesting bears are now in control.

The indicator enhances this basic logic by incorporating EMA and VWAP trend confirmation filters. For long signals, the Slow EMA must be above the VWAP, while short signals require the Slow EMA to be below the VWAP. Additionally, traders can choose between strict flips (requiring a liquidity sweep) or all flips, which generate more frequent signals.

Why it may be useful

This indicator provides traders with a systematic approach to identifying potential market sentiment shifts and trend continuations. By combining candlestick logic with EMA and VWAP filters, it offers a more robust method of detecting entry and exit points compared to traditional single-indicator strategies. The ability to customize filters and time-based restrictions helps traders focus on high-probability trading opportunities.

The visual labels and customizable alerts make it easier for traders to spot and act on potential trading signals. By reducing false signals through trend confirmation filters, the indicator helps traders make more informed decisions and potentially improve their trading performance across different market conditions.

When to explore it

The PumpC CBC EMAs + VWAP Indicator works best in markets with clear trending conditions and sufficient liquidity. It is particularly effective for day traders and scalpers who need quick, reliable signals for short-term trades. The indicator is most suitable for markets with moderate volatility, where price movements are consistent enough to generate meaningful signals.

Traders should be cautious during low-volume periods or highly erratic market conditions, where signal reliability may be reduced. The time-based filtering feature allows traders to focus on specific trading sessions, such as during peak market hours when liquidity and trading volume are highest. It is recommended to backtest and simulate the indicator's performance before applying it to live trading.
