How it works

The Single Candle Entry Model automatically detects candles that trade above the high and below the low of the previous candle, marking these significant price zones with an 'SCE' label. When this specific candle pattern occurs, the indicator highlights the candle with a distinct marker, differentiating between bullish and bearish formations.

The indicator also supports multi-timeframe analysis, allowing users to enable up to three higher timeframe (HTF) SCE detections. Users can select specific timeframes and view boxes around these HTF candles, providing a comprehensive view of potential entry points across different market perspectives.

Why it may be useful

This indicator provides traders with a structured approach to identifying potential entry zones based on specific price action patterns. By highlighting candles that encompass the previous candle's range, it offers a systematic method for recognizing important market turning points and potential support/resistance levels.

The added feature of displaying 30%, 50%, and 70% levels within the detected zone helps traders make more informed decisions. These levels can serve as potential bounce points, giving traders additional insight into possible price behavior and helping them develop more precise entry and exit strategies.

When to explore it

The Single Candle Entry Model is most effective in markets with clear price action and defined trading ranges. Traders can utilize this indicator when looking for potential trend reversals or continuations, particularly in markets that show consistent directional movements.

It works best when combined with additional confirmation signals, such as lower timeframe price flips or complementary technical indicators. Traders should pay special attention to the indicator during periods of consolidation or when price is testing key support and resistance levels, as these are typically the most opportune moments for potential trade entries.
