How it works

The Enhanced Stochastic RSI Divergence Indicator calculates a smoothed Stochastic RSI using configurable parameters for RSI and stochastic lengths. It employs two divergence detection methods: fractal-based and pivot-based, analyzing price extremes and oscillator behavior.

The indicator identifies regular divergences when price makes a new extreme that isn't mirrored by the Stoch RSI, and hidden divergences that suggest potential trend continuations. An optional VWAP filter adds an extra layer of confirmation by checking price positioning relative to the Volume Weighted Average Price.
