UNDERSTAND THE TOOL

How it works

The indicator identifies fractal highs and lows by looking for specific price patterns involving successive higher or lower price points. It analyzes volume relative to a moving average to confirm these fractal points, creating support and resistance zones based on the fractal high/low and the candle's close.

For each selected timeframe, the indicator confirms fractal highs with three successive higher highs followed by two successive lower highs, and vice versa for fractal lows. The zones are created by examining the volume that pierces above the volume's moving average, with larger zones indicating more significant price levels.

Why it may be useful

Support and resistance zones are crucial for traders because they help identify potential price reversal or continuation points in the market. By using volume and fractal analysis, this indicator provides a more sophisticated approach to identifying these critical levels compared to traditional support and resistance methods.

The indicator's ability to create zones across multiple timeframes allows traders to gain a comprehensive view of market dynamics. By visualizing these zones, traders can make more informed decisions about entry and exit points, trend strength, and potential market reversals.

When to explore it

This indicator works best in markets with clear trend movements and sufficient trading volume. It is particularly useful for traders who want to identify key support and resistance levels across different timeframes, from short-term scalping to longer-term swing trading strategies.

Traders should use this indicator in conjunction with other technical analysis tools to confirm signals and reduce false positives. It is especially effective in liquid markets with consistent volume patterns, such as major forex pairs, stock indices, and high-volume stocks.
