How it works

The indicator identifies pivots by validating price levels using a Liquidity Strength parameter, which requires a pivot's high to be greater than the highs of surrounding bars. By setting a specific bar range (e.g., 50 bars), the indicator confirms pivot points retrospectively, ensuring only significant levels are marked.

As price evolves, the indicator creates expanding liquidity channels that grow according to the Channel Growth parameter. These channels visually represent potential resting liquidity zones, with the option to hide expanding channels for a cleaner view. Pivots become invalidated when price reaches their levels or when they exceed a specified number of bars from their origin.

Why it may be useful

Traders rely on identifying significant price levels where liquidity might be concentrated, and this indicator provides a systematic approach to visualizing such zones. By marking pivots with expanding channels, it helps traders understand potential areas of market interest, support, and resistance that could influence future price movements.

The visual representation allows traders to quickly assess the historical significance of price levels, helping them make more informed decisions about potential entry and exit points. By quantifying and displaying liquidity zones, the indicator transforms abstract market dynamics into tangible, actionable insights.

When to explore it

This indicator is most effective in markets with clear trend movements and distinct price levels, such as forex, futures, and liquid stock markets. It works best when traders want to identify potential liquidity zones and understand the historical significance of price pivots across different timeframes.

Traders can leverage this tool in ranging and trending markets, adjusting the Liquidity Strength and Channel Growth parameters to suit their specific trading style and market conditions. It is particularly useful for traders who focus on mean reversion strategies, breakout trading, and identifying potential areas of market interest.
