How it works

The indicator tracks swing points using user-defined strength criteria, representing each validated swing with a horizontal line that extends until invalidated. It continuously scans previous swings to identify the most significant liquidity level taken by the current swing, marking this with a dashed horizontal line.

When a new swing forms, the indicator automatically removes previously rendered liquidity zones and can optionally search for the absolute lowest or highest price point taken, even if not a formal swing point. If enabled, it also generates a sweep label that scores the liquidity sweep based on time and price characteristics.

Why it may be useful

Liquidity levels are crucial for understanding potential market reversals and identifying key trading zones where significant price action might occur. By tracking these levels, traders can anticipate potential stop-loss triggers, identify areas of market interest, and better understand the underlying market structure.

The indicator provides a visual representation of these critical price levels, helping traders recognize where institutional money might be active and potential points of market direction change. Its ability to dynamically update and remove invalid levels ensures traders are always working with the most current and relevant market information.

When to explore it

This indicator is most effective in markets with clear swing movements and where liquidity levels play a significant role in price action. It works best in timeframes that allow for sufficient swing formation, such as intraday and short-term trading scenarios where quick identification of market structure is crucial.

Traders can utilize this tool during periods of market consolidation, trend reversals, and when seeking to understand institutional trading behavior. It is particularly useful for traders employing smart money concepts (SMC) or inner circle trading (ICT) strategies that focus on identifying key liquidity zones and potential market turning points.
