How it works

The indicator analyzes Point and Figure (PnF) chart columns, tracking both O and X columns to calculate Fibonacci levels dynamically. When an O column is identified, it calculates the Fibonacci level based on the column's high and low points, creating a reference line on the chart.

For X columns, the indicator captures the high and low points and similarly calculates Fibonacci levels. The script monitors price movements relative to these levels, using a predefined Fibonacci percentage (0.236) to generate trading signals based on the relationship between current price and the calculated levels.

Why it may be useful

Fibonacci levels provide traders with key potential support and resistance zones that can indicate potential trend reversals or continuation points. By integrating these levels with Point and Figure charting, the indicator offers a unique perspective on market dynamics that can help traders make more informed decisions.

The signal's strength lies in its ability to combine two powerful technical analysis tools: Fibonacci retracements and Point and Figure charting. This approach helps traders identify potential entry and exit points with greater precision, reducing emotional trading and providing a structured method for analyzing market movements.

When to explore it

This indicator is most effective in markets with clear trending behavior, where price movements can be more predictably analyzed using Fibonacci levels. It works particularly well in financial instruments with sufficient liquidity and price volatility, such as major currency pairs, stock indices, and actively traded commodities.

Traders should consider using this signal during periods of stable market conditions and when seeking a systematic approach to identifying potential trade opportunities. It is especially useful for traders who prefer a methodical, level-based approach to market analysis and want to combine multiple technical analysis techniques.
