How it works

The Reflexivity Resonance Factor (RRF) operates by creating two primary proxy measurements: perception and participation. The perception proxy tracks the rate of change in price over a configurable period, smoothed with an exponential moving average to model how quickly the market's collective perception is shifting.

The participation proxy uses a fast/slow Average True Range (ATR) ratio to gauge market participation intensity. By multiplying these proxies, the indicator creates a reflexivity core that models the feedback loop between market perception and action, then applies Z-score normalization to highlight when current feedback is unusually strong compared to recent market history.
