How it works

The Volume Profile indicator aggregates trading volume across different price levels instead of traditional time-based volume analysis. By distributing a candle's volume evenly across its price range, the indicator creates a visual representation of volume concentration at specific price points.

Using a selected resolution timeframe and profile timeframe, the indicator calculates volume distribution for each price level. It then generates a profile that shows where the most trading activity occurred, highlighting the Volume Point of Control (VPOC) and High Volume Nodes (HVNs) to provide traders with a comprehensive view of market activity.
