How it works

The indicator retrieves current prices and daily opening prices for selected tickers, calculating intraday percentage changes. It uses an Exponential Moving Average (EMA) with a short lookback to assess directional bias, comparing current close prices against the EMA to determine trend direction.

The script also analyzes broader market context by tracking cryptocurrency dominance across Bitcoin, Tether, and USD Coin. It compares dominance trends and relative performance between Bitcoin and Ethereum to classify the current market regime as Altseason, BTC Season, or Neutral.
