How it works

The indicator begins by establishing initial dynamic high and low levels from the first candle's price extremes. Subsequent candles are then evaluated against these dynamic levels, with their close price determining the candle's color and potential trend direction. When a candle's close price rises above the dynamic high, it turns green, signaling bullish conditions.

Conversely, when a candle closes below the dynamic low, it turns black, indicating bearish conditions. The dynamic levels are only updated when a candle definitively closes above the current high or below the current low, ensuring responsive yet stable tracking of market movements.

Why it may be useful

This indicator provides traders with a simple, visual representation of market sentiment and potential trend changes. By dynamically adjusting high and low levels, it offers a responsive method of tracking price action that adapts to current market conditions.

The color-coded candles make it easy for traders to quickly understand market direction without complex calculations. This approach helps traders identify potential trend shifts and make more informed trading decisions based on recent price behavior and momentum.

When to explore it

The indicator is most effective in markets with clear, trending characteristics where price movements show consistent directional momentum. It performs well in liquid markets with sufficient price volatility, such as major forex pairs, stock indices, and actively traded commodities.

Traders should be particularly attentive to this signal during periods of potential trend initiation or reversal, where the dynamic levels can provide early hints of changing market sentiment. It is particularly useful for short to medium-term trading strategies that aim to capture emerging trend movements.
