How it works

The script selects a specific timeframe (day, week, or month) and calculates the price range using the high and low points. It then generates Fibonacci retracement levels within the price range, including 12%, 23%, 38%, 50%, 61%, 78%, and 88%.

Additionally, the script plots Fibonacci extension levels beyond the price range, such as 127%, 161%, 200%, 224%, and 241%. These levels are visually represented as lines extending to the right of the chart, providing real-time guidance for potential support, resistance, and price target zones.

Why it may be useful

Fibonacci levels help traders identify key price zones where potential trend reversals or continuations might occur. By using mathematical relationships derived from the Fibonacci sequence, traders can make more informed decisions about entry and exit points.

These levels provide a systematic approach to understanding market psychology and potential price movements. They offer traders a structured method to anticipate potential support and resistance zones, helping to manage risk and identify strategic trading opportunities across different timeframes.

When to explore it

This Fibonacci tool is most effective when markets are trending or experiencing significant price movements. Intraday traders can use daily timeframes, while swing traders might prefer weekly or monthly perspectives to identify broader market trends.

Traders should use these levels in conjunction with other technical analysis tools and confirmation signals. They are particularly useful during breakout scenarios, trend reversals, and when identifying potential price targets after a significant market move.
