How it works

The SynchroTrend Oscillator evaluates trend direction across three different timeframes using either Moving Average or RSI-based analysis. For each timeframe, it calculates a trend score of +1 (bullish), -1 (bearish), or 0 (neutral) based on the selected trend detection method.

These individual timeframe scores are then combined and scaled to a range from -100 to +100, providing a comprehensive view of market synchronization. The oscillator can be further smoothed using EMA, SMA, or left unsmoothed, with the final value determining color, fill, and transparency settings to visually represent trend strength and alignment.

Why it may be useful

The SynchroTrend Oscillator simplifies multi-timeframe analysis by consolidating trend information into a single, intuitive visualization. By eliminating the need to switch between multiple charts, traders can quickly assess market structure and potential trend conditions across different time horizons.

Its flexible design allows traders to customize trend detection methods, timeframes, and threshold levels, making it adaptable to various trading strategies and market conditions. The dynamic color intensity and transparency provide an immediate visual cue about signal strength, helping traders identify high-probability trading opportunities more efficiently.

When to explore it

The SynchroTrend Oscillator is most effective in trending market conditions where multiple timeframes show consistent directional movement. It excels at confirming trend strength, finding potential entry points, and detecting early signs of trend reversals across different time horizons.

Traders should use this indicator as part of a comprehensive trading strategy, combining it with other technical analysis tools like support/resistance levels and price action analysis. It is particularly useful for traders seeking to validate signals, filter out low-probability trades, and gain a more holistic view of market dynamics across different timeframes.
