The Volume Candles indicator uses two primary modes to classify volume intensity: Percentile Ranking and Volume Average. In Percentile Ranking mode, it measures the current volume's percentile rank over a lookback period, categorizing volume levels into low, medium, and high based on percentile thresholds.

In Volume Average mode, the indicator compares current volume against a simple moving average (SMA), defining volume intensity through preset multipliers. Candles are then colored with varying intensity, using green shades for bullish and red shades for bearish movements, providing an immediate visual representation of volume dynamics.
