UNDERSTAND THE TOOL

How it works

The indicator calculates a strength score by multiplying price result (close minus open) by effort (volume or price range). It smooths this raw value using a Fibonacci-based Exponential Moving Average (EMA), with different values for traditional and crypto markets.

The raw score is then standardized against rolling deviation and clamped to a [-1, 1] range. This process generates a five-tier color system representing market pressure, from heavy accumulation to heavy distribution

Why it may be useful

This tool provides traders with a visual narrative of market structure and energy flow. By mapping candle dynamics through color-coding, it helps identify key market phases like accumulation, distribution, markup, and markdown.

The indicator offers a quick, intuitive way to understand market sentiment and potential directional shifts. It allows traders to quickly gauge market psychology and energy without complex mathematical interpretations

When to explore it

The indicator works best on daily charts where Wyckoff phases are most clearly expressed. It is particularly useful when combined with other volume and volatility indicators like OBVX Conviction Bias or Asymmetric Turbulence Ribbon.

Traders can leverage this tool during market transitions, compression zones, and when seeking confluence in directional setups. It is especially valuable for identifying quiet accumulation before potential market expansions
