How it works

The indicator operates on futures products during the daily trading session from 6pm to 5pm EST. It continuously monitors and tracks the intraday low price throughout the session.

When a new intraday low is established, the indicator marks the high of that specific candle as an 'engulf target'. With each subsequent candle making a new low, the engulf target is updated. The indicator maintains this target line until no further new intraday lows are recorded

Why it may be useful

This indicator provides traders with a dynamic support level and potential bullish reversal signal. By tracking the lowest price of the day and marking the corresponding candle's high, it offers a visual reference for potential entry points.

Traders can use this information to identify potential trend reversals, set strategic buy stop orders, and manage risk by using the intraday low as a potential stop-loss reference point

When to explore it

The indicator works best on timeframes of 5m, 15m, or 30m to reduce market noise. It is particularly useful for day traders looking to identify potential trend reversals or support levels.

Traders should combine this indicator with other price action strategies and confirm signals through additional technical analysis. Lower timeframes like 1m can provide more precise entries, while higher timeframes offer more reliable signals
