How it works

The Range Sentiment Profile calculates price variations by first determining the maximum and minimum values over recent bars and dividing the range into equidistant areas. For each area, it accumulates the difference between closing and opening prices, creating a visual representation of price sentiment.

The indicator then normalizes these accumulated differences by calculating the bin length relative to the maximum absolute value across all areas. This approach allows traders to quickly identify areas with predominantly bullish or bearish price variations through color-coded profile sections.
