How it works

The Schmit Trading Liquidity Marker operates by analyzing sequential candlestick patterns to detect potential liquidity zones. It identifies liquidity highs when a bullish candle is followed by a bearish candle, marking the higher wick, and liquidity lows when a bearish candle is followed by a bullish candle, marking the lower wick.

The indicator supports multiple timeframes from 5 minutes to daily, allowing traders to customize their analysis. Each timeframe is evaluated independently, with lines precisely placed at the triggering candle's wick. The system automatically removes lines once price sweeps through them, maintaining a clean and focused chart display.

Why it may be useful

Liquidity sweep levels are critical for understanding potential market turning points and institutional trading activity. By identifying these zones, traders can anticipate where significant price movements might occur and where large market participants may be positioning their trades.

The automated nature of this tool reduces manual chart analysis, saving time and providing objective liquidity identification. Its multi-timeframe approach allows traders to gain a comprehensive view of potential liquidity zones across different trading horizons, enhancing strategic decision-making and market understanding.

When to explore it

This liquidity marker is most effective in markets with clear trending or range-bound behavior, where institutional trading activity is prominent. It works best when combined with volume analysis or order flow tools to confirm genuine liquidity sweep opportunities.

Traders should utilize this indicator across different timeframes, enabling higher timeframes to identify major liquidity clusters and lower timeframes for precise entry refinement. The tool is particularly useful for traders seeking to understand potential market reversals, stop-run scenarios, and institutional trading dynamics.
