How it works

Volume Profile works by dividing the price range of a selected historical period into equal-height vertical rows and aggregating trading volume within each row. It calculates the Point of Control (POC) as the row with the highest total volume and defines the Value Area as the price range containing a specified percentage of total volume.

The indicator dynamically visualizes these rows as horizontal boxes with widths proportional to their volume, using color gradients to represent volume intensity and highlighting key liquidity zones
