How it works

The Volume Profile Matrix creates a grid-based visualization of trading activity by dividing the price chart into multiple columns and rows. Each cell represents a specific price and time interval, with cells colored based on the amount of trading volume occurring within them. More active trading intervals are highlighted using color gradients, with cells closer to red indicating higher trading volume.

The indicator calculates the point of control for each interval, which represents the price level with the highest traded volume.
